Plea for Puppy Educators The Royal Society for the Blind (RSB) Guide Dog Service has gone barking mad with puppy love! RSB Brood Bitch, Opal, gave birth to her third litter on the Queens Birthday long weekend, adding six more adorable puppies to the RSB Guide Dog Service. Quaid, Quinlan, Quantum, Quinta, Qadeer and Quest are all happy and healthy and will soon need good homes to go to, as they begin their training to become RSB Guide Dogs. With its successful breeding program heavily underway, the RSB Guide Dog Service is looking for Puppy Educators to help raise and train puppies from eight weeks old, for a 12-month period, before they begin their formal RSB Guide Dog training. An essential part of the RSB Guide Dog Service, Puppy Educators are invaluable in the journey of training these gorgeous pups, who grow up to be important mobility aids and companions to people who are blind or vision impaired in South Australia. With RSB Brood Bitches Yolanda and Yuma due to give birth in July, there has never been a better time to become a Puppy Educator! The RSB is the primary provider of services to more than 11,000 South Australian’s who are blind or vision impaired in South Australia.
