See Differently Guide and Assistance Dogs

We are a leading Australian provider of Guide and Assistance Dogs, with an internationally accredited program that delivers great outcomes for the range of people who benefit from our support and top-quality dogs.

With nearly 140 years of history working with people who are blind or vision impaired, our Dogs Program naturally started with Guide Dogs. But over time we’ve expanded to offer a range of programs.

  • Guide Dog Program – gives blind South Australians greater independence, mobility and the opportunity to live life on their terms.
  • OPK9 Program – supports veterans with post traumatic stress disorder to move forward positively and reduce the impacts of their disorder.
  • Autism Therapy Program – works with children and adults with autism to improve communication and expression of emotions.
  • Facility Dog Program – provides an onsite wellbeing focus for health and education focused facilities.

We go everywhere

See Differently Guide and Assistance Dogs accompany their owners everywhere, including on public transport and in shopping centres, cinemas and restaurants. They are trained to carry out a range of tasks aimed at reducing anxiety as well as being a friend and companion while participating in daily activities.

Become a puppy volunteer

Our highly successful Guide and Assistance Dogs program has only gone from strength to strength because of the large community of hardworking and caring volunteers who work with us. There are many ways to help and there’s no typical volunteer. All you need is a love of dogs and a desire to give back to the community. Discover more
