Business Improvement Project

YBL Participants and their manager work together to identify a business improvement project.  This project may be related to improving existing systems, productivity, innovation, efficiency or customer service.

The Business Improvement Project enables YBL Participants to:

  • develop and demonstrate leadership skills
  • gain project management experience
  • have access to levels of management they might not otherwise have
  • prove they have what it takes to succeed within their organisation
  • contribute meaningfully to their organisation.

The Business Improvement Project enables YBL Participants to apply new skills and knowledge acquired at developmental workshops and enables Participants to demonstrate the ten competencies to achieve the Diploma of Management.

For his Business Improvement Project Allan Stabile developed a range of workplace initiatives to improve job satisfaction for junior engineers on the ASC Graduate Program.
