Fundraising

Fundraising plays a vital role in assisting the RSB to continue providing essential, free services to South Australians who are blind or vision impaired.  By helping us raise much needed funds, you have the opportunity to make a difference to the life of someone who is blind or vision impaired.

Fundraising Events

You can help the RSB by supporting the events we organise, such as the annual Badge Day in September where we look for volunteers state-wide or Odd Socks Day in June, where you can wear crazy socks for a good cause. Alternatively you can run your own fundraising event such as a quiz night or a sausage sizzle, where proceeds help support the RSB’s services.

For more information, contact Dionie McNair (Volunteer Services) on 8232 4777 or email dmcnair@rsb.org.au.

Fundraising Committees

Regional fundraising committees comprising of volunteers, support RSB by running fundraising events in their local communities. Events may include trivia nights, concerts or collecting for Badge Days. Members enjoy the company of friends, while working together to support a worthwhile cause.

There are currently RSB Fundraising Committees located in Murray Bridge, Gawler and Mount Gambier. Why not join an existing one, or start your own in your local area?

For more information on Fundraising Committees, please contact Judy Williams on 8223 6222 or email jwilliams@rsb.org.au.
