Goal of Service
The RSB provides a range of services for children and teenagers to enable them to live an active life and develop their life skills as they grow older.
Services Provided
The services provided will be dependent upon an individual’s needs and may range from a low vision clinic assessment, the provision of low vision and adaptive technology aids, independent living training, travelling independently and the provision of other essential information.
Location
All RSB offices can assist with inquiries.
Eligibility
Any person who has a significant vision loss and is, for a low vision clinic assessment, referred by an eye care professional. Parents and other family members are encouraged to make contact with the RSB for information on the range of services available.
Referrals
A referral from an ophthalmologist or optometrist is required before a child or teenager can become a client of the RSB.
