RSB Braille Equipment Grant Scheme
A Braille Equipment Grant Scheme has been established to assist legally blind South Australian clients of the RSB who are proficient Braille users to purchase essential Braille equipment.
Each piece of equipment must cost a minimum of $200, and a grant of up to $2,000 will apply, subject to application approval.
The number of grants issued in a year is dependent on the number of applicants and the value of grants received each year. Priority will be given to those people who have not received previous support from the scheme.
Applications can be made at any time during the year and the RSB will consider grants each quarter - on the 31st March, 30th June, 30th September and 31st December.
