Fundraising
Fundraising plays a vital role in assisting the RSB to continue providing essential, free services to South Australians who are blind or vision impaired. By helping us raise much needed funds, you have the opportunity to make a difference to the life of someone who is blind or vision impaired.
Fundraising Events
You can help the RSB by supporting the events we organise, such as the annual Badge Day in September where we look for volunteers state-wide or Odd Socks Day in May, where you can wear crazy socks for a good cause. Alternatively, why not stage your own event, such as a quiz night or a sausage sizzle, where proceeds help support the RSB’s services?
For more information about fundraising for the RSB, please call Dennis Moir on 8223 6222 or email dmoir@rsb.org.au.
Fundraising Committees
Committee members work with volunteers to create fundraising events in the local community. Events can include trivia nights, concerts or Bowls tournaments. Members enjoy the company of friends while sharing a common interest, knowing that the proceeds of their activity are going to a worthwhile cause.
There are several RSB Fundraising Committees across South Australia. Why not join an existing one, or start up one of your own if there isn't one in your area?
For more information about existing Fundraising Committees, please call Judy on 8223 6222 or email jwilliams@rsb.org.au.
