Odd Socks Day
The Royal Society for the Blind (RSB) and Toby (an RSB Guide Dog flashing badge) invite you to take part in the colour and excitement of Odd Socks Day.
Why Odd Socks Day?
For people who are blind or vision impaired, everyday activities can be very challenging. Simple tasks such as choosing matching socks and other clothing are some of the many challenges they face. Losing your sight can be a very traumatic experience. The RSB assists people who experience severe vision loss.
Odd Socks Day was created to increase the awareness of blindness and vision impairment within our community. The RSB provides a range of free services to over 10,500 South Australians who are blind or vision impaired. Odd Socks Day not only heightens awareness, it also helps raise much needed funds to assist the RSB in continuing its valuable work.
What is Odd Socks Day?
The RSB and Toby (an RSB Guide Dog flashing badge), invite you to take part in the colour and excitement of ODD Socks Day. Toby is proud to show his support for the RSB’s Odd Socks Day by wearing his favourite pair of funky, odd socks and flashing bright to help others with little or no sight. You can show your support for the RSB by purchasing your own Toby for $2 and proudly wearing him on Odd Socks Day.
Odd Socks day is a fantastic opportunity for all South Australians to get involved in while enhancing the lives of people who are blind or vision impaired.
